Our interns keep hard at work with our “Defend Life” campaign where we spread our message of suicide prevention awareness throughout college campuses. First stop is at UCSD where our ads and posters were displayed all around campus for students to see. We have received lots of positive feedback and praise from students and will continue to spread the message at other neighboring colleges and local communities.

Next stop… San Diego State University!

Jake began volunteering for OnLife Prevention since fall of 2009. Born and raised in San Diego, he is an honor roll student at Torrey Pines High School and will be graduating in 2011. Playing an active role in youth outreach and participation, he as well as other volunteers recruit other peers to work with OnLife and help prevent suicide. Jake’s hard work has helped to not only foster awareness of suicide prevention, but also assist the OnLife team in a number of current and future projects.
